The article is devoted to the development of public policy and national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of the development of the digital economy. The author identifies 9 areas in the development of legislation in the context of the digital economy, such as amendments to the Constitution regarding the protection of human rights in the digital environment, the formation of legal foundations for informatization and the development of electronic government, the development of electronic legal proceedings, ensuring cybersecurity, the processes of transition to a digital economy, digitalization of the social sphere and the protection of human rights in the digital environment, the use of artificial intelligence. Taking into account digitalization, amendments have been made to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and codes. Special laws and by-laws have been adopted taking into account digitalization, as well as the Strategy "Digital Uzbekistan-2030". In conclusion, the author notes that it is important to continue measures to improve legislation taking into account the digitalization factor and to provide reliable guarantees of state security and the protection of human rights in the context of the digital economy.
