The article examines national regulatory legal acts that serve as a regulatory framework in the fight against illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, which have become an urgent problem worldwide, as well as international documents, including agreements, agreements and conventions. Through the scientific analysis of normative legal acts and norms of international documents, the legal basis for combating illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is classified and based on the regulation of legal relations at the local and state levels, depending on the territory.
