ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF IMPLEMENTING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming warehouse management by improving efficiency, inventory control,and decision-making. This study evaluates the economic efficiency of AI implementation in warehouse operations througha qualitative and comparative analysis of academic literature, industry reports, and international case studies, with Amazon’sfulfillment network serving as a benchmark. The findings show that AI technologies such as robotics, predictiveanalytics, and computer vision significantly increase productivity, improve inventory accuracy, reduce operational errors,and lower logistics costs. Although AI adoption requires substantial initial investment, the long-term benefits outweigh thecosts. The study also examines challenges to AI implementation in Uzbekistan and proposes a phased adoption strategyfocused on digitalization, workforce development, and smart warehouse technologies. The results indicate that AI-drivenwarehouse modernization can enhance logistics performance, supply chain resilience, and digital transformation
