The article examines the role of accounting as a fundamental information framework for financial control andcrisis management systems within an enterprise under conditions of economic instability. The author classifies five basicanti-crisis management strategies depending on the quality of information support. The study identifies specific requirementsfor upgrading the accounting system (acceleration of procedures, express reporting, and object-by-object detailingof accounts), triggered by the need to adapt to specific types of crises
