Annotatsiya

Nowadays, obesity is a low-level chronic inflammatory disease characterized by multifactorial metabolic dysfunctions and is a serious global threat to the health of adults and children. The idea that type 1 diabetes is a disease of thin people is now losing its relevance. Increasing epidemiological evidence now establishes a link between type 1 diabetes and the subsequent development of obesity, or vice versa. In addition to the effects of obesity-promoting environments specific to type 1 diabetes, biopsychosocial stressors further increase the likelihood of obesity. The relationship between obesity and increased insulin dependence creates a vicious circle. In the absence of weight management guidelines and regulatory approvals for this population, health care providers must strike a delicate balance between benefit and risk. The gravity of this situation underscores the importance of bringing this topic to the fore.
