During 2024–2026, the relationship between pre-irrigation soil moisture (relative to field capacity) and leafcell sap concentration (LCSC) was studied in the winter wheat varieties Ultra and Flesh. The results showed that the highest LCSC values were recorded at 70–70–65% soil moisture (Ultra: 16.5–17.9% and 17.5–18.8%; Flesh: 16.0–17.5% and 17.0–18.3%). As soil moisture increased, these values decreased to 12.0–13.8%. The studies demonstrated that irrigation timing can be determined quickly and accurately based on LCSC indicators.
