This study was conducted within the framework of the project “Development of early-maturing, high-yielding cotton varieties with superior fiber quality, resistant to bollworm and glyphosate, adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the Samarkand region, and multiplication of their original seeds.” In the experiment, cotton seeds were grown using the seedling method and transplanted into field conditions after reaching a certain stage of development. During the observations, seedling establishment and germination rates, plant height, and the dynamics of true leaf formation were evaluated. The obtained results reflect the existence of certain differences in the growth rate and developmental characteristics of the cotton samples.
