ABSTRACT In this article, translation of pronouns in German and Uzbek languages in proverbs, semantic and grammatical content, syntactic form and expressed grammatical categories, similar in form, different idioms in content, pronouns rod, number, agreement categories, types according to meaning, German and the similarities and differences between Uzbek languages, the author's style in translation, reflecting the national color, the concept of clear and free translation, giving the language characteristics of images and characters in translation, creating an adequate artistic translation and preserving pronouns in translation in riddles, proverbs and idiomatic units, the components of the idiom form a whole, the re-creation of the idioms in the translation language while preserving the general meaning and stylistic coloring, and the selection of an Uzbek proverb as an alternative to the German proverb with a pronoun group are explained.
