In world linguistics there are no views based on different approaches to the semantic description, classification and interpretation for concept of “head”. Existing classifications were based on different approaches and criteria. The nominative function of the sign is associated with the cognitive-classifying activity of thinking. In the process of nomination, the specific and important features of the object are generalized and the conceptual core of the meaning is formed. Since the concept “head” exists in the semantic atmosphere of the universe, each of them has similar and different features in terms of cognitive characteristics, composition, brightness level, correlation with other ethnic and non-ethnic concepts, etc.
