The article discusses the communicative and pragmatic aspects of the concept of "teacher" in the German and Uzbek languages. Since cognitive linguistics in the scientific literature mainly deals with the concept of a concept, the concept is also a unity of thought and underlies the generalization of the concept, image and linguistic meaning. Concept formation begins with the emergence of an individual image and ends with the emergence of a linguistic unit.
