This article studies the germination and germination dynamics of Ziziphus jujuba Mill. seeds. During the research, the optimal depth was determined by sowing seeds at different planting depths in field conditions, and the highest germination was observed at a depth of 2.5–3.0 cm. Also, the effect of pre-treatment methods of seeds - stratification and scarification - on the germination period was analyzed in a cross-sectional area. According to the results, it was found that the scarification method accelerates seed germination and increases germination indicators. The results of the study are important for the effective propagation and introduction of this plant.
