This article presents a review and classification of key international documents related to climate change. The paper analyzes the evolution of international legislation in this area, starting from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to the most recent climate agreements, such as the Paris Agreement. Issues such as the use of national resources, both public and private, at the national and international levels, as well as financing, international cooperation for development, international trade as a key driver of progress, debt obligations, and sustainable debt levels are considered. The article also addresses the resolution of systemic issues, science, technology, innovation, and capacity building. Furthermore, topics related to data, monitoring, and follow-up activities are discussed. The article aims to deepen the understanding of the international climate change regulatory system and offers recommendations for its further improvement.
