This article discusses the importance of the legislative prohibition of discrimination on the basis of gender to ensure equal rights and opportunities in the regulation of labor relations. The article analyzes international norms and national legislation in the field of protection of the rights of workers from discrimination on the basis of gender and current problems related to the implementation of these norms in practice. And also formulated proposals for improving national legislation.
