За последние десятилетия прогресс в лечении острых форм лейкоза (острый лимфобластный лейкоз — ОЛЛ, острый миелоидный лейкоз — ОМЛ и др.) привёл к заметному увеличению выживаемости пациентов. Вместе с тем расширение арсенала цитостатических и таргетных препаратов привело к росту частоты и многообразию кардиоваскулярных осложнений — от субклинического снижения сократительной функции левого желудочка до явной кардиомиопатии, аритмий, перикардиальных выпотов и тромбоэмболических событий. Эти проявления имеют мультифакторный характер и могут быть следствием как прямой кардиотоксичности препаратов, так и системных эффектов онкологического процесса (анемия, воспаление, тромбогенность, бластная инфильтрация).
