Annotatsiya

According to the World Health Organization, 58 million people have chronic hepatitis C, of which about 1.5 million are newly identified infections and there are about 300,000 deaths each year. About 3.2 million adolescents and children are infected with chronic hepatitis C. Worldwide, mortality from liver disease is about 2 million per year, of which about 1 million are caused by cirrhosis of the liver and about 1 million are caused by complications of viral hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Currently, the prevalence of cirrhosis as a complication of viral hepatitis has increased to 28.7%. In recent years and in our region, there has been a significant increase in liver cirrhosis due to viral hepatitis. The aim of the study is to identify the polymorphism of the IL-17 A gene in healthy individuals and in patients with viral cirrhosis B and C. Study materials: 40 patients with liver cirrhosis with the etiology of viral hepatitis B and 32 with the etiology of viral hepatitis C were included in the study. The control group consisted of 28 healthy persons. For the first time, the study identified polymorphism, multiple alleles, and haplotypic associations of the IL-17 A gene in healthy individuals and cirrhotic liver patients with the etiology of viral hepatitis B and C.
