This article harmonizes scientific opinions on the topic and increases the level of creative thinking of students through the use of modern creative technologies, including brainstorming, smart maps, QR-coded information, when teaching “Materials Science” in higher education institutions, which was analyzed using E.E.Tunika's method “Diagnostics of personal creativity”.
