The article describes the impact of work stress on the state of oral hygiene, gives a comparison with people who do not experience professional stress. Materials and methods. The study involved 131 teachers of secondary schools and teachers of SamSMU with different lengths of service, which were divided into groups A1, A2, B1, B2. Results: OHI-S in A2 and B2 subgroups is significantly higher in relation to A1 and B1 subgroups (p>0.001) and to group 3, which indicates a direct relationship between oral hygiene and stress levels. This index value in all subgroups corresponded to the "unsatisfactory" state of oral hygiene compared with the indicator of group 3, where this index was significantly lower (p> 0.001) and amounted to 0.57 ± 0.04 points, which corresponded to "good" oral hygiene mouth. Conclusions. Analyzing the obtained data, it should be noted that specialists with stress take less care of the state of oral hygiene, which is one of the etiological factors for the occurrence of STD, compared with individuals who do not have signs of stress.
