The linguistic competence of students is important for their successful learning of the English language. After all, English, like all foreign languages, is effectively mastered in the process of active social and communicative relations. Therefore, the formation of the language competence of university students is one of the urgent pedagogical tasks. In this process, the use of innovative technologies helps students learn English effectively while improving their linguistic competence. The article describes the pedagogical conditions for the formation of language competence among students with the help of innovative technologies.
