This article examines the concept and features of "legal interests", traditionally used in legislation along with human rights and freedoms, reveals the content and essence of this legal category. The author analyzes the correlation of "legal interests" with subjective human rights, and based on the study of various approaches of scientists, a number of theoretical conclusionsis developed.
