This article describes the methods of research of laboratory animals subjected to experimental influences. The morphofunctional features of the bronchi and lungs in experimental chronic inflammatory pathology were studied. Research objectives. The study of morphofunctional features of the structure of the bronchi in experimental chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. Materials and research methods. The material for the study was the lobes and segments of the lungs of animals (32 rabbits) subjected to experimental influences. All materials were stained for hematoxylin and eosin, according to Van Gieson, resorcinol-fuchsin Weigert, and also according to Masson's method. Research results. The dynamics of the inflammatory process was controlled and the animals were taken into experience 3, 4, and 5 months after the operation. In each group, 6-8 animals were studied. On the section in rabbits, macroscopically, lungs of a dark pink color were noted, they were enlarged, swollen, dense to the touch. Microscopically, as the duration of the experiment increased, focal hyperplasia and metaplasia of the bronchial epithelium were observed. Conclusion. After intratracheal introduction of a thread in the lungs of rabbits, there are signs of progressive pneumonia with signs of excessive proliferation.
