Annotatsiya

This article highlights that spider mites are among the major pests in the agrobiocenoses of ornamental and nutbearing trees in the Republic. Under the conditions of the Tashkent region, four species of phytophagous mites were identified in walnut plantations during 2024–2026. These include the two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae Koch.), the orchard spider mite (Schizotetranychus pruni), the red hawthorn mite (Amphytetranychus viennensis Zacher), and the flat-bodied mite (Cenopalpus pulcher Can et Yans.). In conclusion, it was determined that insectoacaricides, based on their modes of action, effectively regulate the population of phytophagous mites but negatively affect their natural enemies. The population of phytophagous mites recovers within 15–20 days, whereas the population dynamics of their natural enemies require 35–45 days to return to pre-treatment levels after pesticide application.
