The article covers the basics and conditions of obtaining citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in particular the collusion and legal gaps existing in the law «On citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan». On the basis of comparative-legal analysis of the legislation of the CIS countries, proposals and recommendations were made to eliminate them.
