The article provides information about the infestation of soybeans by spider mites and measures to combat them planted at different times in the conditions of takyr-meadow soils of the Surkhandarya region. Field experiments were carried out at the experimental farm “Research Institute of Fine Staple Cotton” in 2021-2023. The soybean variety Nafis was studied in the study; sowing was carried out on March 20-25, April 5-10 and April 20-25 at the rate of 350-500 thousand units/ha. Based on the results obtained, it was established that when sowing on April 20-25, they are less affected by spider mites, compared to earlier sowing.
