This article presents a comprehensive study of the role of women in the socio-political, cultural, and economic life of Karakalpakstan in its historical and contemporary context. It emphasizes that women's activity is an important indicator of gender equality, the stability of civil society, and the progress of social institutions. The work traces the evolution of the image of the Karakalpak woman: from a traditional keeper of the hearth to a modern entrepreneur and public figure. Examples of successful women entrepreneurs from Karakalpakstan, supported by state and international programs, are cited.
