This article analyzes the importance of national identity in the professional activities of civil servants and its role in the process of achieving professional perfection. National identity is a form of social consciousness formed through a person's attitude to his people, history, customs and values, and for persons working in the civil service, this concept is seen not only as a cultural and spiritual value, but also at the level of a professional criterion. The article sheds light on the content and essence of the concepts of national identity and professional perfection, and their interrelations are analyzed on a scientific and theoretical basis.
