This article considers seasonal changes in the ecological state of lakes Shurkul, Tamirchi, Yangikadam, Echkiyor, Chegara, Otbotgan and Sardoba in the Yangiaryk, Bogot and Tuprokkala districts of the Khorezm Province based on the analysis of seasonal hydrobiological samples taken from the lakes. Seasonal changes in the ecological state of lakes by the biotic periphyton index and the saprobic index were revealed. The ecological state of the lakes in different seasons is mainly of the AB type, which means they are moderate polluted and have a satisfactory ecological state. Only in spring, in Yangikadam, Tamirchi, Otbotgan and Echkiyor lakes, AB-Ab type - moderate polluted-polluted waters, a transitional ecological state, and in Shorkul Lake, Ab type - polluted waters, an unsatisfactory ecological state were observed.
