Annotatsiya

This article investigates the linguistic features of phraseological units with a floristic component through an analytical approach. The study examines the semantic composition, structural organization, idiomatic nature, connotative meanings, and pragmatic potential of phraseological units containing plant names. It also clarifies the place of floristic phraseologisms within the lexical-semantic system of language, their role in shaping figurative thought, and their connection with national-cultural views and the conceptualization of the world. The article substantiates, through examples, such characteristics of these units as polysemy, variation, stylistic markedness, expressiveness, and communicative-functional significance. Particular attention is given to their role in representing cultural memory, national stereotypes, associative models of perceiving nature, and value-semantic dominants fixed in linguistic consciousness. The findings demonstrate that floristic phraseologisms constitute a layer of the phraseological stock of language, enrich its figurative and expressive resources, and reflect collective thought, value orientations, and cultural-historical experience. Thus, their relevance for contemporary phraseology, linguoculturology, semasiology, and the theory of linguistic imagery is established.
