Очень важно изучить взгляды общественного мнения на сегодняшние события, поскольку в результате выявления возникающих проблем в обществе могут быть найдены пути их решения. Аффилиативный подход представляет собой сочетание принципов открытости коллективу, умения устанавливать дружеские отношения, стремления поддерживать атмосферу взаимной поддержки. В статье рассматриваются возможности влияния общественного мнения на преступность и ее профилактику. Роль общественного мнения в предупреждении преступлений и положительные стороны осуществления общественного контроля за соответствующими государственными органами обеспечивают открытость и подотчетность их деятельности. Эти процессы анализируются в статье на основе опыта зарубежных стран.
