Purpose of the study: By morphological studies to study changes in the lungs of those who died of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the forensic medical examination. Materials and Methods: We examined the cadavers of 42 sectional cases who died of coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The study was conducted between 2019 -2021. All patients were treated at the Second Zangiata Specialized Hospital in the intensive care unit in the pathology department. Among the deceased, male gender predominated in proportion to female gender. Out of the total number, 28 corpses belonged to males and the remaining 14 to females. The age category of the deceased ranged from 30 to 75 years. The examination was done by hematoxylin-eosin, Mallory and Van Gizon methods. The results showed the most informative changes in other organs and tissues caused by vascular endothelium damage caused by the "cytokine storm" as well as by the virus influence on the organism and the autoimmune nature of endothelium damage after coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Conclusions: Thus, in the practice of forensic medical examination the morphological changes arising at new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has a wavelike character, morphological investigations to study and determine the underlying cause helps to resolve questions not only morphologically but also clinically. These investigations are of great importance for solving many problems in the field of medicine.
