This article presents the results of studying the phenological and morphological characteristics of cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.) varieties under local soil and climatic conditions. In the study, emergence, flowering, ripening stages, and morphological traits were analyzed across 13 variety samples. The vegetation period ranged from 85 to 132 days. Earlymaturing varieties were characterized by rapid development and drought resistance, mid-maturing varieties by stable yield, and late-maturing varieties by high essential oil content. Based on the results, recommendations were proposed for improving cumin breeding and cultivation practices.
