In this article, sports are analyzed from the point of view of sociology by students of different industries and talk about the social phenomenon of sports as one of the phenomena of human life. The notion of sports is revealed in scientific and theoretical, its paradoxical place and values in modern society are analyzed. Modern scientific concepts related to sports have been fully explored and the scientific basis for it has been laid. Some of the conditions that have emerged from sport have been analyzed and the mechanisms of addressing the issues of physical culture and sport in modern society are discussed. It provides an overview of the functional functions of physical culture and sports, and a scientific-theoretical overview of the social and cultural characteristics of sport. There is a scientific theory that the socio-cultural process of sporting phenomenon studied by the author is a modern requirement.
