A study of the literature revealed a significantly high frequency of threatened abortion in women with neurology pathologies, in particular epilepsy. A significant negative effect of antiepileptic therapy on embryogenesis and various systems of a woman was also found. Correction of epilepsy and individually selected therapy in the pregravid period in women with epilepsy can overcome the critical periods of gestation and achieve a successful course and outcome of pregnancy.
