Examined and analyzed the conclusions of the examinations and the data of the case materials concerning 140 children-pedestrians who died as a result of a collision with moving cars. Among the injured pedestrians: boys - 91, girls - 49. Age: 6-7 years - 53; 8-10 years old - 41; 11-14 years old - 37; and at the age of 15-17 years - 9 cases. Of the total number of 140 children-pedestrians who suffered from a car injury, combined cranial brain injury was noted in 78% of cases, combined chest injuries - 40.6%, combined abdominal injuries - 50.2%, spinal cord injury - 25.7% and limb fractures - 55% of cases. According to the results of correlation-regression analysis, damage to these parts of the body turned out to be the most typical for this type of car injury (R = 0.73). Consequently, the mechanism of injury can be clarified on the basis of studying the features of damage to the structure of these parts of the body. When studying the localization and features of the formation of fractures of the bones of the lower extremities in pedestrian children, it was found that in children 6-12 years old with a height of 95.0 to 140.0 cm, fractures were most often observed in the middle third of the diaphysis of the femur, and with a height of growth over 140.0 cm, over the age of 12-14 years, similar fractures were observed in the middle third of the shin bones.
