The article analyzes the current practice, efficiency and development trends of agricultural lending in Uzbekistan. It highlights the role of credit resources in agricultural production, identifies institutional constraints faced by farmers, and evaluates the impact of lending policies. Based on comparative assessment with international experience, priority directions for improving the lending system are proposed.
