This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of thetheoretical and practical foundations of international economic blocs, their formation,stages of development, and their role in today‘s global economy. Within theInnoRes Journal – Vol.2 No.5 (2026) www.innores.uz80framework of the article, key economic blocs such as the World Trade Organization,Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, European Union, Eurasian Economic Union,BRICS, and G7 are thoroughly studied, with special attention to Uzbekistan‘sparticipation or non-participation in these blocs. The article also reveals thesignificance and prospects of international economic integration for Uzbekistan basedon both theoretical and empirical analysis.
