Mustaqillik tariximizni xolis o’rganish hamda yoritish imkonini berdi. SHu jihatdan Rossiya imperiyasi Turkistonni istilo qilishi va uning o’lkadagi ijtimoiy-iqtisodiy, siyosiy hamda ma’naviy-madaniy, maorif sohasida puxta o’ylangan mustamlakachilik siyosatini o’rganish ham tarix fani uchun dolzarb masaladir. CHorizm bosqiniga qadar o’lkada maktab va madrasalar keng tarqalgan edi. Xalq ma’naviy madaniyatining tayanchlari bo’lmish madrasa, maktablar ustidan imperiya hukumatining nazorati o’rnatildi. CHor hukumati madrasa, maktablar faoliyatini o’rganib, mustamlakachilikning bundan keyingi istiqboli uchun ularning xavfli ahamiyatga ega ekanligini tushunib yetgan edi
