The article examines scientific and theoretical basis for improving the pedagogical capabilities of educating students in the spirit of military patriotism. After all, the patriotic education of the younger generation has always been one of the most important tasks. Patriotic education is the gradual formation of students' respect for their homeland and a constant readiness to defend it. Today in our country it is important to set priorities for systemic reform, to raise the process of training highly qualified personnel with modern knowledge and high moral qualities, to modernize higher education, to develop social and economic sectors based on advanced educational technologies. . Only then will the issue of improving the pedagogical potential of educating students in the spirit of military patriotism be resolved.
