This article discusses and studies the importance of using interactive methods in teaching English in universities with non-linguistic fields, in particular in architectural educational institutions. The article examines the issues of effective use of a number of interactive techniques, such as role-playing games, brainstorming, discussions, pair and group work, and other game technologies in the process of teaching English to students of architectural and construction universities. The analysis of certain pedagogical approaches used taking into account the professional needs of students is carried out.
