This article highlights the theoretical and practical aspects of optimizing the process of sowing cotton seeds (cottonseed) using seeders. The main factors influencing sowing quality - physical and mechanical properties of seeds, unit speed, parameters of seeding mechanisms, and agrotechnical requirements - were analyzed. Optimal technological solutions have also been proposed to increase resource efficiency and ensure uniform seedling yield.
