The article discusses the Karakalpak people, who have preserved historical songs in their traditions and customs, expressed as a poetic dastan genre in oral folk art and in classical literature textbooks, with significant events from social life and external political confrontations of the past forming the basis of their plot. In the development of musical culture, Karakalpakstan has a unique cultural heritage that includes rich musical traditions.
