For centuries, libraries have been centers of knowledge, cultural and educationalinstitutions where the treasures of human thought and creativity were collected and stored. With thedevelopment of technology and information systems, libraries have gone through significant transformations,adapting to the needs of society and offering new forms of access to information. Today, libraries play animportant role in society by providing a wide range of digital and innovative services. They have become notonly repositories of books, but also centers of cultural and social activity supporting scientific research andeducational programs. The introduction of digital technologies into librarianship has opened up newopportunities for users by providing access to electronic resources and remote services. This article willexamine the process of evolution of modern libraries under the influence of digital technologies. Theinnovative services offered by libraries, their role in supporting research and education will be analyzed.
