The article is devoted to the main approaches to teaching the analysis of artistic text and analyzing modern trends in teaching this discipline. The paper considers traditional and innovative methods that are used in teaching students in the field of philology and literature. Special attention is paid to the importance of the developmental approach aimed at the formation of critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as the use of modern technologies such as multimedia resources and digital platforms. The article analyzes the changes in the teaching of literature, which are related to the globalization of educational processes and the growing interest in interdisciplinary approaches. It describes methods of integrating the theory and practice of text analysis, as well as approaches aimed at developing the skills of independent interpretation of works. The author emphasizes the need to take into account new cultural and social realities in teaching literature, which contributes to a deeper perception of texts and expands the horizons of understanding the artistic world.
