This article analyzes the experiences of Uzbek labor migrants in Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, and South Korea, and the impact of migration on their national identity. Cultural and linguistic similarities facilitate adaptation in Russia and Kazakhstan, though instances of xenophobia are noted. In South Korea, due to cultural differences, adaptation mainly occurs within diaspora communities. In Germany, the flow of skilled migrants is increasing. The article concludes with recommendations to protect migrants’ rights and strengthen their social integration.
