This article analyzes the formation of primitive tribal society in the Khorezm oasis based on natural-geographical factors, riverbed movements, and archaeological findings. During the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, communal life developed around the ancient branches of the Amu Darya. Research results indicate that water resources, fertile lands, and climatic conditions led primitive societies to transition from an appropriating economy to a productive one. Archaeological monuments demonstrate the formation of the tribal system in Khorezm.
