The article explores the scientific and theoretical aspects of ensuring the sustainability of local budgets. The main indicators of local budget stability are analyzed, including the balance of revenues and expenditures, the stability of tax and non-tax re venues, budget deficits and debts, financial independence and sustainability, as well as indicators of social expenditures and services. Based on the analysis, proposals have been developed to enhance the stability of local budgets in our country.
