This paper devotes to identifying normative data on the contribution of perceptual (visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile and gustatory) modalities to the semantics of Uzbek words. The method of data collection is a questionnaire using the Likert scale. 80 students of the Urgench State University were involved as respondents. Uzbek words with ratings above the average for one, two and three of the five modalities are compared in this aspect with translated equivalents in the Russian database "RuWordPerception".
