The article analyzes structural changes in Uzbekistan's retail trade sector over the period 2016-2025. It examines the dynamics of the number of retail enterprises, the gap between nominal and real growth of turnover, the degree of regional differentiation, and the stages of e-commerce segment development. The findings indicate that the sector is shifting from quantitative expansion toward qualitative consolidation. The study substantiates the movement of competition in the household appliances and electronics trade from price-based rivalry toward service-based rivalry, and puts forward proposals for improving trade services.
