This article analyzes the relevance of embryo transplantation technology, a modern biotechnological method, in enhancing the genetic potential of the livestock sector, particularly cattle breeding, in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The advantages of this method in the short-term formation of highly productive dairy and meat herds adapted to local climatic conditions, as well as the system of state support for the industry, are highlighted.
