The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of managing the innovative activities of ecotourism entities. The economic essence of the concepts of ecotourism and innovative activity is revealed, conceptual approaches to managing innovative activity (systemic, institutional, strategic, cluster, digital management) are substantiated, and the experience of foreign countries is studied. The article develops the author's definition of the concept of "innovative activity of an ecotourism entity", proposes its 4-type classification (technological, marketing, organizational-managerial, social innovations), and substantiates the structural elements of the innovative management mechanism. The proposed approach reveals the possibilities of its application on the example of national natural parks of Uzbekistan.
