The article analyzes the structure and geographical location of the city and comments on the historical geography of the city, based on the information provided by Russian and English researchers (N. Khanikov, N. Maev, B. Litvinov, H. Vambery) who visited the city of Karshi in the mid-18th and early 19th centuries.
